My British family are all keen sailors and although I grew up near lakes rather than the sea, I seem to have inherited the same passion. This led me to complete my competent crew qualification in 2022 and the day skipper in 2023. Not having a boat doesn’t make it easy to get sailing and journey planning practice so I decided that I needed to book another adventure. This time it took me to the Isles of Scilly and across the Irish channel to Howth.
